Use of Twenty Eight International for entertainment (FOI)

Use of Twenty Eight International for entertainment (FOI)

Request

Has any government department, official or minister or assistant minister patronized an establishment called Twenty Eight international to entertain any foreign individual or HNW individual? If so which department or person organized such a visit and who was entertained?

Response

We have contacted the various Scheduled Public Authorities and each have confirmed that their Ministers, Assistant Ministers and officers have not made use of the facilities of Twenty Eight International to entertain any foreign individual or ‘high net worth’ individual.

One department made use of the facilities in 2016 to hold an all day training session for 22 people on the discrimination law. This use of the facilities cost less than £500.
