Who is the accountable officer for acquiring the services of Charlie Parker in the States of Jersey and who signed the order, if they are different.

Response

The States Employment Board employed the new Chief Executive in preparation for the replacement of the then Chief Executive Officer, at the request of the Chief Minister of the day. The recruitment process was led by the Jersey Appointments Commission.

The Chief Executive Officer is responsible to the Chief Minster and is an employee of the States Employment board in common with all public servants.
