Can you please supply a list of all States controlled or influenced funds, trusts, endowments and the like that are available for the funding of agricultural, environmental, fishery or ecological studies, research, improvement and Public benefit projects, including funds that may be limited to Charity use only.

Clarification

I am aware that there are several Bursaries, Trusts and other Funds that are available for a number of educational and charitable causes, some are administered privately and others are run through the States.

My particular interest is in such designated funds that might be available for those purposes mentioned that are administered by the States. I am not sure how to class the Howard Davis Fund since there is a Ministerial nominee on the board but it is a ‘civilian’ fund.

The list of funds is on pages 314 to 316. Similarly, grants of £75,000 and over made by the States of Jersey in 2017 can be found in the same publication. They are detailed on pages 269 to 270.

Full details of grants below £75,000 are given in the Unaudited Annex to the Accounts. This document is yet to be published for 2017, but a link to the 2016 Annex is below, the information is on pages 293 to 303.

Funds available for charitable purposes are detailed here, it should be noted that whilst the administration of the Funds is carried out by the States of Jersey, decisions in relation to grants are made by a panel of jurats of the Royal Court.
