How much money is collected in social security contributions from Islanders aged 16 to 18.

Response

Social Security Contributions are paid quarterly in arrears, therefore the data below relates to 2017, which is the most recent full year available.

Any employee above school leaving age who works eight or more hours per week must pay 6% Social Security Contributions. The employer will also pay 6.5%.

The following amounts were collected in relation to 16 to 18 year olds for 2017.
