Severance pay for senior civil servants (FOI)

What is the amount of severance pay and/or golden handshakes for the following;

1) Charlie Parker?

2) All other senior civil servants, including interim directors earning six figure salaries?

Response

The policy of the States of Jersey Employment Board is to ensure that the legal obligations of the Board, as the employer, are met on the termination of any employees including senior managers.

Any further information in relation to this request is therefore exempt under Article 25 (Personal information) of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011.

(1)     Information is absolutely exempt information if it constitutes personal data of which the applicant is the data subject as defined in the Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018.

(b)     its supply to a member of the public would contravene any of the data protection principles, as defined in that Law.
