Notes:
1. The 26,000 tax returns identified were outstanding as at 7 May 2019.
2. The analysis only includes taxpayers registered for income tax for the year of assessment 2018 and sent a 2018 tax return by Revenue Jersey.
3. The count is based on the number of taxpayers as opposed to individuals (so in the case of a return sent in respect of a taxpayer that is married or in a civil partnership this is only counted as one outstanding return).
4. Age is based on the age of the taxpayer at the start of 2018.
5. The taxpayers identified in the tables do not have a tax agent managing their tax affairs and were required to file their 2018 tax returns by 31 May 2019. Those tax payers with tax agents in 2018 are excluded (as they are not required to file their tax returns until 26 July 2019).
