Covenants, conditions and restrictions relating to Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Park (FOI)

Produced by the Freedom of Information office
Authored by States of Jersey and published on 10 August 2015.
Prepared internally, no external costs.

Request

A question was asked: “In respect of the area of land now known as The Sir Winston Churchill Memorial Park in St Brelade what covenants, conditions or restrictions apply to this land?”

The reply was that:

“Transport and Technical Services Department (administrators of this park) do not have full English translations of the Deeds relating to the property. The Law Officers have, in the past, provided information relating to the Park, however, under FOI Exemption, Part 5 / 31, Advice by a Law Officer is ‘Qualified Exempt Information’. Therefore, it is not permitted to provide a copy of this information.”

Please can the relevant documents (the Deeds) be scanned and placed online as a PDF so that translations can be made by third parties?
