What are the absence figures for schools in Jersey for each week from the beginning September 1st 2020

Please break them down to show:

  • primary schools

  • secondary schools

  • KS4

  • post 16

  • those being educated off site (ie shielding at home)

Please show as a percentage and as an overall number per week.

Response

The tables below represent absence figures for Government of Jersey schools from 1 September 2020 to 18 December 2020. These have been broken down weekly and represented in numbers and a percentage.

Those being educated off site would be included in the figures for Covid-19 related absences. These include isolating, shielding or were absent through staff shortages and should therefore be completing schoolwork from home.
