How much, approximately, does it cost to run the States and how much of that money goes to each department?

Response

The Medium Term Financial Plan (MTFP) 2016 to 2019 provides full detail of the budgeted income and expenditure of all States departments for 2016.

A summary of the expenditure budgets allocated to each department for next year is provided on Summary Table C page 140 of the MTFP 2016 to 2019.

The States also produces an MTFP Department Annex for 2016, which details what services each department is intending to allocate their budget to for next year.
