Why do you not list the reference number with the title of the request? Lack of a reference makes it almost impossible to select the required FoI request when trying to cross reference from one FoI document to another.

Can I have a copy of (number redacted) please?

Response

Every Freedom of Information request received is logged with a unique identifying number which is used in all communication with the applicant.

We use this unique number to verify the identity of the applicant and it may also be used to collect information in relation to a request. Therefore this information cannot be published.
