Please can you obtain the following information from Jersey Property Holdings (JPH):

1. The number of properties whose owners have entered into licence agreements with the Government of Jersey relating to foreshore encroachments since January 2021. 

2. The names of these properties. 

Response 

The Minister for Infrastructure has approved for the Public of the Island to enter into three licence agreements in relation to foreshore encroachments during the period requested. 

The property details you have requested are exempt under Article 23 of the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011 as the information is publicly available on  www.gov.je within the Ministerial Decisions linked below:

Article 23 - Information accessible to applicant by other means 

(1) Information is absolutely exempt information if it is reasonably available to the applicant, otherwise than under this Law, whether or not free of charge.

(2) A scheduled public authority that refuses an application for information on this ground must make reasonable efforts to inform the applicant where the applicant may obtain the information.
