Can you tell me, as at today's date how many patients of the ophthalmology department at the general hospital are being treated for Glaucoma? 

Response 

As at 11th October 2022, there are estimated to be 1,846 individuals being treated for glaucoma under the Ophthalmology Department at Jersey General Hospital. 

This figure includes all those who had their most recent appointment on or subsequent to 1st January 2021, excluding those who have subsequently been discharged and those who have passed away. However, it is not possible to account for patients that may have left the island permanently as Health and Community Services is not always notified when this occurs.
