Request

As of 16 February 2023 how many SAP Ariba invoice payments were still outstanding, in other words, need to be paid by the Government of Jersey?

Response

The Government has 30-day payment terms. The SAP Suppliers Ariba is a real time system and it is not possible to retrospectively report on invoice payments outstanding at a date that has passed.

The Government has made payments against SAP Ariba invoices raised against Purchase Orders raised in SAP Ariba totalling over £29 million since the implementation of SAP Suppliers Ariba. As at 14th March 2023, 155 SAP Ariba invoices totalling £176,000 were over our 30 day payment terms and outstanding. This represents 0.6% of the SAP Ariba invoices paid to date.  These amounts do not include invoices paid against invoices for which no SAP Ariba Purchase Order was raised. As at 14th March 2023, total payments against all invoices, including the above sums, of £87million have been made this year.
