Please provide the student male: female ratios of the reception class for September 2023 in the following schools:

  • JCP
  • FCJ
  • Trinity
  • St Martin's.

Response

Please find below the current allocation of students’ male / female ratios for the September 2023 Reception classes:

JCP - 32 Males and 38 Females

Trinity - 19 Males and 9 Females

St Martin - 18 Males and 11 Females

FCJ – Manage their own admissions. FCJ Primary School is not a scheduled public authority under the Freedom of Information (Jersey) Law 2011. Therefore the information is not held by the Government of Jersey and Article 3 of the Law applies.

Please note these allocations are subject to change between now and September 2023.

For the purposes of this Law, information is held by a public authority if –

(a)     it is held by the authority, otherwise than on behalf of another person; or

(b)     it is held by another person on behalf of the authority.
