Could you give me the number of eviction cases from (1) Andium and (2) other social housing providers that were handled by the Viscounts Dept last year and the figure for so far for this year.
Could you also give me the number of eviction cases from (1) Andium and (2) other social housing providers last year and the same figures for so far this year, that were handled by the Petty Debts Court and how many were successful.
Response
The Court Service can confirm that there have been two eviction cases relating to Andium Homes Limited handled by the Viscount’s department in 2024 and none in 2025.
In respect of cases handled by the Petty Debts Court, in 2024 Andium Homes Limited brought 12 actions, 9 of which were granted. Other social housing providers brought 3 actions and no evictions were ordered. In 2025 (latest figures available to 23 July 2025) Andium Homes Limited brought 1 action and the eviction was granted. No actions have been initiated by other social housing providers.
