Summary

Our plans for change

Public services in Jersey are changing. As part of the One Government approach, we are modernising our services to meet long-term goals for our economy, customers, people, services and our island.

Health and Community Services (HCS) is also changing in order to play our part. Like all States departments, HCS will be reorganising the department to enable us to work differently and achieve our ambitions. 

The changes proposed have the potential to significantly improve services for islanders and to create new opportunities for those of us who work in health and care.

The One HCS document describes our overall ambition for HCS on the island. There is also a 4-page summary document attached.

We are currently consulting on One HCS with HCS staff until 4 January 2018. We also welcome feedback from stakeholders about our proposals. You can email us with feedback via the onehcs@gov.je email address.
