Chris Hare sees private patients at Jersey General Hospital Radiology Department (Diagnostic Imaging Ltd) and at Jersey X-Ray Services Ltd, Lido Medical Centre.
Specialty
Chris specialises in general body imaging with interests in GI (gastrointestinal)/pelvic floor, urology, cardiac, oncology and MSK (musculoskeletal).
He has pioneered the use of Whole Body MRI in Jersey.
He performs a wide range of biopsies including liver and prostate.
Training
Chris qualified at the University of Wales College of Medicine in Cardiff in 1989.
This was followed by a general medicine rotation in Cornwall from 1990 to 1993, and a training rotation at UCLH and Middlesex Hospitals from 1993 to 1999.
He was consultant radiologist from 1999 to 2005 at UCLH and Middlesex Hospitals, the Heart Hospital, the European Scanning Clinic and the London Clinic.
Since 2005, he has been a consultant radiologist in Jersey.
