Joining the library

​​What you need to br​​ing​

​​Bring the following information with you:

  • proof of identity, such as a credit card or your passport
  • official document that shows your address in Jersey, such as a bank statement or a letter from your employer)

Children

Children can join from birth. If you are under 18 you need to get your form signed by a parent or guardian.

Visitors 

Short term visitors to the Island can use the library by leaving a valid card from their home library or a cash deposit with us before borrowing.

Using my library card

You can use your library card at all of Jersey's libraries:
  • the town library 
  • the mobile library service
  • communicare library

Home library

If you are housebound and unable to get to a library, our home library service can bring books to your door.
