Jersey Labour Market Report December 2006

Today (4 April) the States of Jersey Statistics Unit has released the Jersey Labour Market Report for December 2006 which covers total employment (private and public sectors).

Headlines:

  • In December 2006, 51,780 people were employed in Jersey.
  • This total represents an increase of 1,540 on the previous December.
  • Seven-eighths of the total were employed in the private sector.
  • 430 people were registered with Social Security as unemployed in Jersey in December 2006.
