Victoria Avenue roadworks update

The resurfacing work on Victoria Avenue is moving closer to town next week (8 March 2010). 

In order to preserve resident and commuter car parking in the lay-by car parks, cyclists will be diverted from the cycle track on to the paved promenade.

The diversions will be clearly marked and will affect the cycle path from car park 1 (adjacent to West Park) to car park 3 (opposite Tyneville Lane). They will be for half the length of a car park at a time, starting with the western end of car park 3.

Le Petit Train will run along the paved promenade from West Park to First Tower.

The inconvenience caused to pedestrians, cyclists and Le Petit Train during the resurfacing works is sincerely regretted.
