Complete your census by Sunday

​​​Sunday (27 March) is Census Day and everyone should now take the time to complete their questionnaires and return them as soon as possible, using the pre-paid envelope provided.

Returning the 2011 census questionnaire is really straightforward. Most of the questions are tick boxes and should only take a few minutes for each person living in a household.

Over 3,000 census questionnaires have already been received back by the census office. Census questionnaires can be returned in advance, but it is important that the information provided relates to Sunday 27 March.

Dr Duncan Gibaut, Head of the States of Jersey Statistics Unit said “The 2011 census is going to make a difference to everyone’s lives over the next ten years and this is your chance to be counted. So please do your bit by filling in your questionnaire on census day and posting it back as soon as possible”
