Rue du Presbytere resurfacing

07 December 2011

Rue du Presbytere in Trinity will be closed for 10 days for resurfacing from Monday 12 December 2011.

Rue du Presbytere and sections of Rue de la Croix will be closed for the duration of the works and drivers will be diverted along Rue au Sellier and Rue es Picots. Signs will also direct members of the public to the parish hall from Rue es Picots and Rue de la Croix.

Rue du Presbytere was last resurfaced 31 years ago and is currently very uneven and in poor condition, having been dug up numerous times for utility services. The works will involve strengthening sections of the existing carriageway and resurfacing the full width of the road. The £60,000 project will be undertaken by Pallot Tarmac Limited on behalf of Transport and Technical Services.

Transport and Technical Services has apologised in advance for any disruption that the essential maintenance works might cause.
