Ministers' statement on Telegraph article

The following statement has been issued jointly by the Ministers for Treasury and Resources and Economic Development, in response to an article in today's Daily Telegraph:

“Jersey meets the highest international standards of financial regulation, including anti-money laundering and ‘know your customer’ regulations. 

“The Jersey Financial Services Commission, as the regulator, is equipped with all the necessary powers and resources to ensure compliance with our very high standards.

“Ministers have every confidence in the ability of the Commission to discharge these responsibilities and deal with any issues that may arise."
