Victoria Avenue roadworks update

Work to replace the traffic lights at the First Tower junction of Victoria Avenue will be completed today (Thursday 1 August).
 
However, Transport and Technical Services (TTS) have postponed the works scheduled to start today at the Rue du Galet junction.
 
Replacing the traffic lights at First Tower has taken longer than expected due to the extremely wet weather of the last couple of days which have made working with electrics impossible.
 
This means there is now insufficient time to complete the scheduled work on the Rue du Galet junction that was due to take place at the latter half of the week. This work will now be reprogrammed for later on in the year.
