There’s a chance for Islanders to win £250 each week to put towards the training course of their choice.
The Cash4Courses draw will take place every week for the next two months. It marks the launch of Skills Jersey’s online course finder.
More than 1000 courses
This new tool enables Islanders to search and compare courses, qualifications and workshops offered by over 30 local suppliers, from a single search. It links to more than 1000 courses, ranging from accountancy, management and first-aid certification to conservation, theology and social media training.
Islanders can use the course finder’s keyword search to look at details of all training available in an area of particular interest, or browse through details of the courses offered by specific training providers.
Achieve goals
Launching the Cash4Courses promotion, the Chair of the Jersey Skills Board, David Witherington, said, "Training supports individuals to develop the skills they need to achieve personal and professional goals.
"After seeing the wealth of training available locally via our Course Finder, we hope the Cash4Courses promotion will encourage Islanders to pursue the next steps in their development.
"We are looking forward to assisting the winners to access their chosen course and would challenge everyone to identify the training that will make a difference to their career.”
Cash4Courses is open to all Jersey residents aged 18 and over and runs from 1 July to 31 August. Full terms and conditions can be found on Skills Jersey’s website.
