Further census bulletins published

Statistics Jersey have today published three further census bulletins from the 2021 census.

A census of the population of Jersey was held on 21 March 2021 and was conducted by Statistics Jersey. The Jersey Census takes place once every decade and gives us the most accurate and up-to-date estimate of the number of people and households in Jersey as well as providing a detailed picture of Jersey today.

Bulletin 4 focuses on employment and includes details of:
  • Economic activity
  • Unemployment
  • Occupation
  • Industry
  • Hours worked

Bulletin 5 focuses on education and includes details of:
  • Highest attained educational qualification broken down by:
    • Age
    • Sex
    • Place of birth
    • Occupation
    • Industry

Bulletin 6 focuses on transport and includes details of:
  • Number of cars, vans and motorcycles
  • Households without access to a car or van
  • Travel to work methods
  • Destination of travel to work
  • Working from home
