Gas supply update

Island Energy have informed customers that the gas supply will not be restored today, as they need to ensure all processes are being followed correctly to get the supply back.

Ministers and officials have expressed disappointment that the issue is not yet resolved but understand that this is driven by health and safety assessments and the arrival of engineers and technical support to the Island.

Given the announcement of a delay, we are opening up Les Quennevais Sports Centre for non-members who are without gas and would like access to hot water and showers.

We will continue to liaise with Island Energy and share their announcements on the Government social media accounts.

Please continue checking in on family members and neighbours who may be without hot water or heating.
