The ongoing works on Trinity Road, originally scheduled for completion on 1 September
2025, have been delayed due to the discovery of voids beneath the carriageway. We have
looked at multiple options to open the road, however the work that needs to be completed is
in the centre of the carriageway. The team will be working over the weekend to complete as
soon as possible.
Unfortunately the road closure has to be extended to ensure the long-term safety and stability
of the road. The new completion date is 10 September 2025.
We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologise for the disruption.
However, addressing these issues now is essential to prevent future roadworks and further
closures.
We are engaging with affected businesses in the area to provide support and minimise the
impact of the extended works.
Public safety remains our top priority, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as
we complete these critical infrastructure upgrades.
