Community Service Supervisor

The Probation & After Care Community Service Scheme supervises offenders who have been sentenced to perform un-paid work as a direct alternative to a prison sentence. A Community Service Supervisor must be able to apply fair and consistent supervision. The supervisor must have previous supervisory experience together with the ability to motivate and organise a group of offenders. The supervisor must demonstrate pro-social behaviour. Experience in a similar background is desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to resolve conflict and de-escalate incidents are essential. Potential candidates must be strong and reliable team players. This role is both rewarding and challenging.
