We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative head chef for our café.
The role is approximately 48 – 50 hours per week over 6 days, including three evenings a week.
Key Responsibilities:
•Menu Development: Help to devise, plan, and implement a creative, seasonal menu to keep our loyal customers engaged and excited. Including daily specials.
•Daily Operations: Prepare and cook food to order during café hours, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and consistency in a fast pace environment.
•Inventory Management: Oversee weekly food orders, liaise with suppliers, manage stock, and reduce waste.
•Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
•Cost Management: Manage food costs, control waste, and maintain pre-agreed profit margins.
•Lead and organise the kitchen team, ensuring it runs smoothly
