Main responsibilities:
Counselling and advising the public on the treatment of minor ailments;??
Selling over-the-counter medicines and other products;
An understanding of stock management is crucial, involving ordering, checking, receiving, and storing medicines appropriately and securely;
Merchandising the pharmacy by following planograms of product display;
Training of counter staff;
Supporting the dispensary team with prescription receipt and handover to patients and pharmacy services;
Cash handling;
Dealing with queries, checking, and filing documents, processing waste and excess medicines and other duties supporting the efficient and safe operation of the pharmacy.
