Voluntary Independent Trustee

The Jersey Employment Trust (JET) requires an Independent Trustee to join our board.
JET is a charitable trust set up to provide specialist support services for people with a disability and / or long-term health conditions to find and maintain paid employment.
We welcome applicants with lived experience of disability or long-term health conditions as well as from all backgrounds and communities. The prospective candidate would have a keen interest in both disability issues and employment matters, as well as good interpersonal skills, social awareness and a strong commitment to equal opportunities. Ideally candidates will have board level experience in either an executive or non-executive capacity.
Commitment levels required are to attend 8 meetings a year and occasional ad hoc advisory sessions with the management team.
