Statement of significance
This mid C19 farmhouse retains its proportions and historic character. The adjacent cottage, barn and bakehouse create a cohesive group which contributes to the rural roadside setting.

External Description
House (2 storey, 5 bay) with single storey cottage and barn to west. Projecting from northeast corner single storey extension (bakehouse) with further lean-to outbuilding. Front (south) elevation: slate roof with rendered chimneys to each gable. Wall rubble with dressed stone quoins and long and short openings. Windows replacement 12 pane sashes. Door replacement 6 panel with 5 pane overlight. Rear (north) elevation: slate roof with C20 rooflights. Random rubble wall, central opening with dressed stone surround. Single storey projecting from east: slate roof, tall brick chimney to north gable. Walls random rubble with rough dressed openings. Replacement door and window. Barn to west: slate roof with pitched, slate hung hay loft dormer. Walls random rubble with dressed stone openings to cottage door and adjacent windows, vehicular door later opening, bricked up opening. Windows 4 pane (2/2) sashes, no horns. Cottage door 6 (3/3) panel door with single pane overlight.
