About the consultation

The Minister for Treasury and Resources, Deputy Ian Gorst, is seeking views on the proposal that tax appeals and similar disputes be dealt with by a Tax Tribunal, similar to other Tribunals in Jersey, rather than the current Commissioners of Appeal body.

The responses to the consultation will inform one part of the Minister's commitment in his Ministerial Priorities of "modernising the tax appeal process, making it more open and transparent".

Revenue Jersey will collate and provide respondents comments on these proposals to the Treasury and Minister.
