Office of the Chief Executive

The Office of the Chief Executive is now part of the Cabinet Office. Its previous functions support Ministers across Government by providing strategic and operational support to the Council of Ministers.

The Office of the Chief Executive is now part of the Cabinet Office.

Andrew McLaughlin is the interim Chief Executive Officer and Head of the Public Service. He's also the Principal Accounting Officer under the Public Finances Law.

The Chief Executive is supported by 2 Assistant Chief Executives. They are Richard Bell, Treasurer of the States and Chief Officer for Treasury and Exchequer and Tom Walker, Chief Officer for People, Policy and Digital.
