The Chief Minister, Senator Ian Gorst, and the Assistant Chief Minister, Senator Paul Routier, travelled to Glasnevin Cemetery in Dublin on 11 December 2016 to witness David Blake officially hand back a remnant of the Irish flag dating back to the 1916 Easter Uprising.

Can you please tell me:

A

 Was there anyone else in the Jersey contingent or just these two ministers?

B

What was the cost of all their flights and was Mr Blake's flight paid for by the SOJ?

C

Did this visit require an overnight stay and if so, how long did they stay and what was the cost involved?

D

What other expenses were accrued. ie What was the total cost of this?

The Chief Minister, Senator Ian Gorst, and the Assistant Chief Minister, Senator Paul Routier, attended on behalf of the States of Jersey.

B

Flight costs for the Chief Minister and Senator Routier were £510 in total. Mr Blake’s flight was not paid for by the States of Jersey.

C

Yes, for one night at a cost of approximately £250 in total.

D

Taxis cost approximately £90.
