​As a precaution John Lewis are recalling the affected products as they do not comply with the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire Safety) Regulations.

These products pose a greater risk than a fully-compliant product in the event of a fire. In everyday use, the items pose a low risk as long as you take normal sensible precautions for fire safety.

If you have bought one of these items since 1 May 2017 from a John Lewis & Partners shop or johnlewis.com, stop using it, and return it to your nearest shop as soon as possible for a full refund.
