Coronavirus: advice for travellers from Tenerife

​Jersey's health officials have issued advice for any Islanders returning from Tenerife, who may have stayed at the H10 Costa Adeje Palace Hotel:

  • anyone who has returned from staying at the hotel in Tenerife affected by Coronavirus is being asked to self-isolate for 14 days from the date they left Tenerife, whether or not they have symptoms of Coronavirus
  • anyone who has returned from the affected hotel in Tenerife and has symptoms of Coronavirus is asked to self-isolate for 14 days from the date they left Tenerife, and to call the helpline on 01534 445566 for medical advice 
  • anyone who has been in contact with guests who have no symptoms after staying at the affected hotel, needs to take no action
  • anyone who has been in contact with guests who do have symptoms after staying at the affected hotel, should call the helpline for advice

Anyone who has visited Tenerife – but not the affected hotel – need take no action.

Health officials are working to identify the people who have just returned from Tenerife to pass on this advice. 

The helpline (+44 1534 445566) is the first point of contact for anyone who thinks they may have symptoms of Coronavirus.
