The Health and Safety Inspectorate does not provide training or approve specific training providers.

If you require training there are several training providers in Jersey who may be able to help you. Contact details are available in the telephone directory yellow pages, under health and safety. 

Qualifications required to operate a fork lift truck

An Approved Code of Practice (ACoP), which was introduced in June 2002, clearly sets out the requirements for training of operatives. It also includes information relating to a number of issues associated with the safe use of fork lift trucks.
