Company return filing extension
The Comptroller recognises tax agents and their clients may still be adjusting to the change from 31 December 2023 to 30 November 2023 of the 2022 company return filing deadline.
To help alleviate these first year pressures, the Comptroller will accept that a 2022 company tax return is not delivered late if that return is submitted before midnight on Friday 15 December 2023. This statement only applies to the company return filing deadline (Article 17A(2)(a)(i) of the Income Tax Law) for the year of assessment 2022.
All other deadlines in the Income Tax Law remain unchanged.
The filing deadline for delivery of partnership statements for the year of assessment 2022 remains as midnight on 30 November 2023.
Specified time for the purposes of Article 17A(2A) of the Income Tax Law remains as midnight on 30 November 2023.
