Household recycling collection
Glass should be put it into a separate wheeled glass bin and left outside your house for collection every month at the same time as paper, cans and plastic bottles. There are no additional recycling points for glass in St John.
St John runs a household recycling collection scheme which collects the following materials on a monthly basis.

Recycling collection dates for paper and cardboard, metal packaging, plastic bottles and glass
Your recycling will be collected on the same day as your existing glass collections. Collections will be on one of the following dates:
- 7 and 8 January 2021
- 4 and 5 February
- 4 and 5 March
- 1 and 2 April
- 6 and 7 May
- 3 and 4 June
- 1 and 2 July
- 5 and 6 August
- 2 and 3 September
- 7 and 8 October
- 4 and 5 November
- 2 and 3 December
Other recycling points in St John
All items which are delivered to the recycling points should be:
- clean (cans, plastic bottles, textiles)
- empty (cans, plastic bottles)
Do not leave items that do we not collect for recycling at the bring banks such as glass and cardboard.
