Recycling: kitchen roll

How you can recycle kitchen roll

The cardboard inner tube can be recycled along with other cardboard: in the cardboard container at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre, in the cardboard recycling bins at the mini recycling centres or in your parish household recycling collection if your parish provides this service.

The used sheets of kitchen roll are not recyclable and should be disposed of with your household waste.

Where you can dispose of kitchen roll

How you can reuse kitchen roll

Many schools and nurseries use the inner cardboard tube for craft projects.

You can use the tubes for seeds rather than using plastic pots for your allotment.
