You can recycle most metal packaging

Types of metal packaging you can recycle

laminated foil, for example cat food and coffee pouches that spring back when you scrunch them
crisp and sweet packets or wrappers
metal containers for chemicals, for example white spirits, paints or engine oils
general kitchen ware for example cutlery, pots and pans
other metal items for example kettles, irons, pipes, large household appliances

Rinse or wipe off any food residue from the metal packing before recycling it.

You can recycle metal packaging at various recycling points. Some parishes also offer kerbside recycling for metal packaging.
