Recycling: shoes

How you can recycle shoes

Tie shoes and boots together so they remain in pairs and put them in bags to keep them dry and put them in any of the Salvation Army textile recycling banks.

There is a mixed textiles recycling bank at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre and many parishes have mini-recycling centres that accept textiles.

How you can reuse shoes

You can take pairs of shoes in good condition to the Acorn Reuse Centre at the Household Reuse and Recycling Centre.

Good to know

If you are donating to charity shops tie the shoes together in pairs so they can't be separated.
