About the consultation

It is the intention that the outdated Construction (Safety Provisions) (Jersey) Regulations 1970 be replaced with a new set of regulations which reflect current industry standards and employment relationships.

The new regulations will also address health and safety throughout the whole construction process, from initial concept and design through to eventual demolition of a building or structure.
