About the consultation

​What makes Jersey special and why does that matter?

These two simple-sounding questions underpin the Island Identity project. If we can provide satisfactory answers to them, we can begin to see how our Island’s distinctive qualities can be recognised afresh, protected and celebrated. 

We want Islanders to give their honest views and let us know what it means to be a part of this community, what makes us unique, and what we should value and defend.

How to submit comments to the consultation

​You can contribute to the consultation by:

  1. Completing the Island Identity online survey  
  2. Emailing your comments to islandidentity@gov.je
  3. Taking part in forthcoming Island Identity events and focus groups. Details will be published on gov.je
