Back to Work
Since 2022, the number of people registered as Actively Seeking Work at the end of each year has slowly increased. However, the number of people who have been unemployed for a long time has stayed about the same.
We’ve seen more young people registering in recent years, after a drop during 2020 to 2022. The number of men and women registering is now almost evenly split, following a spike in male registrations in 2020.
The number of Job Starts has decreased in line with registrations and has remained consistently low over the past few years.
