Draft revision of the Fork Lift Truck ACoP: Consultation feedback

​The consultation on the draft revision of the ‘Safe use of rider-operated lift trucks:  Approved Code of Practice' (ACoP) closed on the 14 April 2022. 

The attached report summarises the feedback received during the consultation exercise. 

There was overwhelming support for the broad principles and draft amendments to the existing AcoP, as well as a number of constructive observations which will be carefully considered during the development of the final draft ACoP with the intention of this being formally approved by the Minister for Social Security.
