Trainee Health and Safety Inspector vacancy: find out how you can join the inspectorate team

​An opportunity has arisen for somebody with a real passion and commitment to improving health and safety in the workplace to be appointed as a trainee Health and Safety Inspector. 

This is a demanding role and will require the successful applicant to undergo extensive training, both on-the-job training within the Inspectorate, and in the UK with the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) over a three year period. 

You must have an Honours degree or an equivalent qualification (i.e. Level 6 on the National Qualification and Credit Framework). 

Sound judgement, strong influencing skills and excellent interpersonal skills are essential, as well as good comprehension and writing skills, physical fitness and a current driving licence.
