​This report presents the updated annual statistics on terminations of pregnancy (also referred to as T.O.P. or induced abortion). These are compiled from the mandatory notifications sent to the Medical Officer of Health for each termination of pregnancy conducted on Jersey (under the Termination of Pregnancy (Jersey) Law 1997).

The report, updated with 2019 data, shows a data series of numbers and rates of terminations going back to 2000. It also analyses the terminations by age of woman, gestation period, method of termination and number of previous terminations.
